Green Gift from Japan
To celebrate the long-term bilateral exchanges and good relationship between Japan and Qatar, the exhibits from Japan, of which concept is “Green Gift”, intend to promote sustainable innovations and combat desertification through advanced greening and environmental technologies.
In addition, toward the next A1 International Horticultural Exhibition in Yokohama, Japan, we present the International Horticultural Expo 2027, “Scenery of the Future for Happiness”.

Indoor Exhibits
“Realization of enriched lives with flowers and greenery” and “Wisdom in Japan for co-existence with the nature and regeneration/circulation”
In our 200m² indoor exhibits, to be set in the biodome-2, we will introduce high quality Japanese flowers and its culture, and advanced technologies related to the theme of this expo.
Contents of Indoor Exhibits
Indoor exhibits are composed with various exhibition stands. Unique flower arrangements and seasonal flower items are displayed in every two weeks. Ikebana, a Japanese cultural art form with a history of more than 700 years, is also displayed. In addition, Japanese technologies on indoor cultivation systems, wall greenery, and revegetation are introduced.

Outdoor Exhibits
Green Gifts for Well-being Doha, Qatar
Design Concept of Outdoor Pavilion: Green Gifts for Well-being Doha, Qatar Climate positive designs to the harsh environment of Doha, Qatar where climate change is significantly harming and desertification is progressing, using Japanese urban green technologies and methods.

Exhibit traditional Japanese gardens with Local Plants in Qatar. Traditional garden elements are converted to Greening technologies to achieve the water harvesting and greening sustainability with less water in desertification environment.

Environmental education and workshops are held in the Pavilion to sustain the green and contribute to the well-being of future Doha City. Hands-on flower beds are designed and built by children in Doha, Qatar, to cultivate the ownership of the green. The pavilion landscape provides a cool and comfortable space and the memorable experiences in the space will be gifts for Doha, Qatar from Japan.
Event space / Concept area of International Horticultural Expo 2027
Entrances will be created from three different directions, and make a path to walk around the whole area. An event space will be set up in the center and used for events, playgrounds, and a rest area with Tatami Chair. And also, a concept area for the International Horticultural Expo 2027, Yokohama, Japan will be set up to promote the next event in Japan.
